Chocolate + Crazy Dreams

So time and time again I hear people saying, "I can not eat chocolate before bed or I will have crazy, insane dreams". Waking up 15 minutes late this morning the first thing that came to mind was...."wow that was an intense dream, but I can't remember what happened in it," and "Mmmm... I had chocolate cake before bed."

I have to talk about the cake first! My mom made this amazing chocolate cake for my brothers 18th birthday. It was a chocolate pudding cake with chocolate chips mixed in, topped with an amazing cocoa butter cream icing. It was amazing, and I absolutely could not resist a piece before bed especially with the possibility of there being none left for me in the morning.

I personally do not think that chocolate affects your dreams mostly because I eat chocolate almost every night before bed. However, if chocolate does affect our dreams, I say "eat more chocolate before bed!!!". When you think about it, life is short and we spend almost half of it sleeping, so why not make those sleeping times as eventful as we can!

If you had a good dream, even if it was not that good at least you had a dream. That totally beats out going to sleep and just waking up; feeling like you were only asleep for 15 minutes because nothing happened and it was just darkness. I would never give up my chocolate before bed and I love dreams... I just wish I was better at remembering them.

About Me...

My name is Tiffany Miller and recently graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia. As a Broadcast Journalism Major I never thought blogging was my thing. But the way the economy stands today and having a job in government related in no way to my major I have decided to give it another try.

I live in the DC area and currently work for the Department of State in Rosslyn during the week and Friday nights through Sundays you can find me in Galesville, MD working as a waitress on the water. I am just trying to save up money and pay off my loans in hopes of one day finding the perfect job for me. I can be extremely random at times and this is most likely how my blogs will be. But, hopefully they will be interesting, entertaining and keep you coming back for more.

I will begin a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate through Mississippi State in the fall and hope to one day be on one of the local television or radio stations. Ideally I would like to work for CMT as an Insider as I love Country Music, but I will take wait I can get for now.
